From December 13 to 15, 2024, amidst an atmosphere filled with wisdom and passion, the Zhejiang Provincial Association for Folk Traditional Chinese Medicine Research and Development, in collaboration with Zhejiang Chinese Medical University, grandly convened its 2024 Academic Annual Conference in Hangzhou, a city renowned for its rich history and culture. This grand event was not only an academic feast in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) but also a profound tribute to traditional TCM culture and a significant practice in its inheritance and innovation.

Experts and scholars of TCM, folk TCM practitioners, and enthusiasts from across the province gathered together to celebrate this momentous occasion. The conference was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Xu Xuping, Deputy Director of the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission; Chen Luojia, Former President of the China Association for Folk Traditional Chinese Medicine Research and Development and Dean of the School of Life and Health at the Open University of China; Huang Wenxiu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University; Xiao Luwei, Former President of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University and Director of the Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Famous TCM Doctors; Feng Hongde, Director of the TCM Comprehensive Management Division of the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission; Wang Lei, Deputy Director of the Zhejiang Provincial Medical Service Management Evaluation Center; Zeng Xiaofei, Director of the Zhejiang Provincial TCM Development Research Center; and Huang Jianbo, President of the Zhejiang Provincial Association for Folk Traditional Chinese Medicine Research and Development and Vice President of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. Their attendance added a strong academic atmosphere and authoritative prestige to the annual conference. Xia Bang'en, a director of the Provincial Association for Folk TCM Research and Development and head of our institute, was invited to attend the conference and delivered a brilliant academic report at the plenary session.
